Dear Parent or Guardian,
Your child is being asked to take the California Healthy Kids Survey at school. The survey includes questions about alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues, as well as questions about school safety and the learning environment. The survey will be given to your student in their English class during the early part of October. If you do not want your child to complete the survey, please contact Lori Meadows at the phone number or email listed below.
The survey is anonymous. No names or any other identifying information is connected to the answers except for the name of the school. If you wish to view the student survey, you may do so at the school office or on-line at https://www.nohum.org/ beginning October 1st.
In addition, parents and staff will also be asked to take the survey. The parent survey link will be emailed to you on October 1st, and will be available until October 9th. It will also be posted on our district website at https://www.nohum.org/.
The parent survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Although parent participation is voluntary, your feedback is an important part of our district decision-making process. We hope you will take the time to provide your input.
